It may seem like it takes a village when it comes to my hair, however, I finally found what I have been searching for a very long time. The perfect colorist, with intuitive talent and expertise that turned my accidentally close to platinum blonde color to the natural tones of my hair. For the past six months I have been trying to get my hair color back to natural. Several hair stylists tried to take up the task, but none managed to complete it correctly. Comes Mary Ehni, the stylish and chic, well spoken colorist sat me down on her chair and undeniably transformed my hair to what I have been searching for all along. With the assistance of Marta (a good hearted Ukrainian neighbor to my Polish heritage), an oil shampoo treatment by Shu Uemura, and two cups of tea later, I walked my way up the stairs for a cut by Robbie Fuhrer. I left he salon glowing, and my hair felt healthy… like it got it’s life back. It is hard to put in to words the gratitude I felt that day. I should not have been this surprised, as John Barrett is no stranger to great hair, with an impressive resume of 30 years in the hair industry transforming celebrities, politicians and everyone in between. Barrett definitely has the right team to carry on his name and the brand. Thank you once again Mary, Robbie and Tomas.

So, when my family arrived for a visit from Poland, they were welcome with open arms for an evening of treats at John Barrett salon. Kiki, a make-up professional specializing in the Tom Ford brand, painted my cousin Justyna’s face which brought out her already gorgeous eyes. Robbie gave Justyna a blow out that left her feeling absolutely fabulous and ready to take on the night! Robbie also cut her husband’s hair, Krzysztof Augustyniak, a Polish triathlete. He said that it was one of the best experiences that he has had. To make things even more magical, Wioletta Janiec, ‘U Wioli’ salon owner in Nisko, Poland had the opportunity to experience how the a top hair salon in the USA operates.
